Product Description
Chinspot Batis
The chin-spot is a common and widespread bird and is primarily insectivorous, finding its food on the surfaces of leaves and occasionally catching insects on the wing. It can be distinguished from the somewhat similar Pygmy Batis, Batis perkeo, by its longer tail and the narrow white stripe above its yellow eye. The plumage of the male is entirely black and white with a black bib but the female has additionally a chestnut throat spot and breast band.
